About Joyful Noise Speech Therapy
We provide individualized speech/language and occupational therapy services to children of all ages. Our primary office is located in Hillsville, VA. Speech therapy is available through in-home visits in Pulaski and Montgomery counties, based on client needs and scheduling availability. Virtual services are also available to anyone living in VA. While our focus is pediatric care, we proudly welcome adult clients. We are in-network with most Medicaid plans, Medicare, Anthem BCBS, Aetna, CareFirst, Cigna, and United Healthcare. Private pay is also accepted.
Getting started with speech or occupational therapy (or both!) is simple. Here’s what you can expect:
1. Free Consultation
We begin with a free phone or online consultation to understand your needs, goals, and concerns. We'll help determine if our services are the right fit for you or your child. Check out the services tab for more information about what we treat!
2. Personalized Evaluation
Next, we schedule a comprehensive evaluation. This helps us identify strengths and areas for improvement. From there, your therapist will create a customized therapy plan tailored to your child’s specific needs.
3. Therapy Sessions Begin
You’ll start one-on-one therapy sessions with a licensed clinician. Sessions may be in-person or online, depending on your preference and location.
4. Ongoing Support & Progress Tracking
We keep you informed every step of the way. Progress is reviewed regularly, and therapy plans are adjusted as needed to ensure steady improvement.
5. Graduation & Maintenance
Once goals are met, we provide strategies for maintaining progress and offer optional check-ins to support long-term success.
